Yes Horace, we do face a worldwide War on Terror. What's tragic is that it took a 9/11 for America to realize what was happening in ROW.

But calling the recent blasts in Mumbai as 7/11, more than a resemblance to 9/11, is Indian medias' lazy thinking and sensational opportunism. We had major floods in the city last year due to record rainfall; the day is recalled 26/7.

Going to work the day after a terrorist attack and wondering whether the beared co-passenger is carrying a bomb in his bag, is not resilience. It's courage. Foolish courage.

i think indifference is the key dude... look at it our city has still not punished those who planted bombs 13 years ago... you think these guys...will do anything about this one... first of all our system as get out of being lathargic and becoming proactive rather than being reactive... then only we will be making a difference

I enjoy your writing and wish to commend your country for its resilience in the face of the Mumbai bombings. I feel it is no coincidence that India has already started referring to the attacks as 7/11. We face a worldwide War on Terror and, from what I've been able to read, Mumbai is to India's what New York is to America. I'll continue to read your commentary with interest.
